I'm in the process of assembling a new machine along with two others for our final graduate class project. It's a bit different that the RepRaps posted so far. I've gotten a number of items donated from work for the project.
I've got a three axis motor driver (it accepts step and direction), a Siguino, 24vdc power supplies, a reprap dc motor driver, and three stepper motors. The siguino is all together along with the motor drivers.
Will I need more electronics to control the motors other than my laptop? The three axis motor driver uses 12-36vdc, since I have a 24vdc supply can the Siguino and the Reprap motor driver run safely on more than 9vdc?
I'm sure I'll have more questions as I go but this is what has me at a standstill right now.
