How to add a status LED to the Darwin Opto Endstop 1.0?

Hello everyone,

I would like to add status LEDs to my Opto Endstops 1.0. I figured from these pages:

OptoEndstop 1.0: [reprap.org]

and

OptoEndstop 2.1: [reprap.org]

that I will need these small LEDs and 1 kOhm resistors and put them in a series.

But where do I have to wire this small series of parts up to? I cannot read the wiring diagrams on these pages. Can anybody help me please?

Connect the anode to pin 1 (5V) of the connector and the cathode to pin 2 (output) via the 1K resistor. These are the two connections also going to the 10K resistor so it might be easier to attach there.
