Stepper Driver Questions

Hey, I'm trying to connect the gen3 drivers to a mega. Which pins have to be connected to PWM/digital? Also it says that the drivers should only run motors with a resistance greater than 6 ohms, I however do not have such a motor yet. The only 4 phase motor I own is very small and has a resistance of around 3 ohms. Is it possible to run this motor for short period of time to test my boards or do I run the risk of breaking something?

When you say 'gen3 drivers to a mega' are you referring to something like Adrian's Mega Pololu electronics?

If so I cant be any direct help with your question I'm afraid. However, I'm also playing with a Mega and stepper motors at the moment and have found this guide quite helpful. It's worth a look if nothing else.

The pins are usually specified in the firmware you are using. Usually in pins.h
