miniature 3D scanning on a Spaceship

I found out scanning of small miniatures is a challenge in 3D scanning world, so I decided to this field and try out some miniatures and figure scans.
Generally miniatures are high detail objects and they have lots of deep cavities that are difficult for scanning, but using my 4 axis table and modified version of FlexScan3D, I easily scan them in some few minutes.

This Figure (miniature) is a SLA printed object, not the original one. It is 7cm tall and it has many small details.
Just look at my scan result. You even can see the SLA print layers. These layers are about 0.05mm.
Total scan time for this miniature was about 26 minutes, from placing the miniature on the turntable to getting the final mesh.

This scan was done on my DIY 3D scanner. it is a supper high resolution and high accuracy 3D scanner based on modified version of FlexScan3D
