Repetier firmware - choices for host software
September 23, 2012 10:48AM
Hi. I am hoping to test out the Repetier firmware and have uploaded it to the Atmega 1284P on a Gen7 v1.4 board. When I try to connect in pronterface, however, it times out. I have tried different baud rates, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I have tried to use the Repetier host also - but it doesn't seem to be compatible the mono libraries on my Debian installation.

Has any one got the Repetier firmware working with pronterface? Or, alternatively, has any one got Repetier host working on a recent Debian system?

I needed to set EEPROM_MODE to 0 in the Configuration.h file - i.e.
#define EEPROM_MODE 0
