so reading the configure.h i see a large amount of pid settings and a few others i dont understand like

#define DEFAULT_Kp 22.2
#define DEFAULT_Ki 1.08
#define DEFAULT_Kd 114

wouldnt be an issue if used one of the "kits" but mine is a prusa that i sourced the parts from everywhere including this hot end
budaschnozzle 3mm/0.35

I have heard some horror stories about bad settings making hot ends go bad and oviously thats not somthing i want happening smiling smiley .. so anyone able to shed som light on the settings or point me to a wiki/link that explaines how i would set this up ? (the google has not been helpfull)

You have posted your P.I.D settings. They are your 3 variables for correctly heating your hotend or bed.
You can 'Autotune' your hot end using gcode to get the 3 values.

Glad to help.

I know they were not "your" settings or you wouldn't need the explanation. winking smiley
I meant "the default" settings. I will hang my head in shame. sad smiley

I'm only messing. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
