Pull config from repetier?
August 08, 2013 09:26PM
Hello, I'm trying to find out if there is any way I can save or modify the configuration that is currently uploaded to my printer. I don't have the original files but I need to tweak the settings a little. If I go into the EEPROM config in repetier-host it just loads a blank window so I'm assuming that the EEPROM flag isn't set. I need to tweak a few things and this printer will be all set but I don't have the original config from the initial calibration.

Hi NoValidTitle,

Could you specify your Set-up:

OS?, Windows?, OS X ?, Version?
Repetier-Host Version?
Firmware: Marlin or Repetier-Firmware? Version?

Did you buy your Printer with the Firmware installed?
Printer-Type?

I'm using Windows 7 but have both linux and OS X on other computers if it would help the situation.
Host version is v0.90C
Firmware is Repetier 0.83

I bought the printer with the firmware installed, it's a prusa i3. Guy I bought it from doesn't have the firmware he uploaded with the current settings.

Thanks for your help.

Okay, you have to set all the settings again, but this isn't difficult.

1. Goto to repetier.com > Repetier-Firmware
2. There you'll find instructions for the installation and settings.

Try it and if you need help, upload your modified Configuration.h to the reprap Forum (Attach a file, Choose File, Attach).

You'll need a couple of hours to learn how it works but a the end you will be able to tweak your printer and later to install new versions.
