Prusa with Gen 3 Electronics?

Hi,

I'll soon have all my parts to build my first Prusa Mendel. I started collecting parts over a year ago so I have Generation 3 Electronics from Maker Bot.

Would someone who built a Prusa with these Electronics post some pictures for me so i can see how you laid them out?

I don't have pics since my gen3 is on my makerbot, but I think the video on the main page shows gen3 on a sells mendel. Just thought I'd chime in and point you to gen3+

They'll make putting another stepper driver on there for the extruder easier, just in case you haven't already seen them.

Thanks, I will check into it.

I really don't want to spend $200 for new electronics.

Unless there would be a market for unused Gen 3 Electronics that I could sell.

I wonder how much market there is for unused Gen3 Electronics.

I have Motherboard, Extruder board and 3 Stepper boards from MakerBot. Unaltered and never used.

I'm thinking I might want to go the RAMPs route..

It sounds to me like you've got all of the electronics you need for a SphereBot, a 3D scanner, or a laser engraver.
