weird layers?

Hi i have just built a prusa mendel. But my first print is really weird.. See the picture for more info. What's is my problem? Thanks!

It looks like you lost some X steps on one of the earlier layers. Once that happens, all bets are off as to what the print will look like.

Were you watching while it was printing, because you can usually hear when steps are being lost. If that IS what it is, it can be solved by turning up the stepper drivers a bit. You need to be careful though; too high and the motors start to overheat.

thanks for your response! but it didn't helped. Maybe my powersupply is to weak? 19v 4.5a

This post may come too late for you, but are several reasons you might see this type of behavior:

1. The grub screw on your pulley(s) may not be tightened, causing your motor shaft to slip.
2. Your belt(s) may not be tight enough, causing your pulley to "skip" over steps in the belt
3. Your acceleration numbers may be too high, causing your motor to fall behind
4. As jbernardis mentioned, you may need to dial up the current being applied to your motor
