Top layer sinking in

Hi,

We are printing with PLA and noticed that on small prints that the top tends to become messy and "sinks inward". Are these the effects of no cooling? Here is an excample:

I'd imagine that the hotend moves quickly across a small area and the previous layers don't have enough time to cool down and start curling. Is this correct? I guess the only way to prevent it would be to install a fan _or_ print very slowly. We were printing these at 50 mm/s which I thought was pretty slow.

Thanks,
Stefan

Yep, you must have a fan for PLA
