Troubles with extruder/hotend angry smiley

Hey Mates,

have a Prusa i2 with Wade's Extruder and Hotend v4 from reprapworld.com (0.5mm with 3mm Filament).
The printer worked fine until yesterday.

I realized that there is not enough filament comming out of the nozzle. So I started to find the error and ended up in having a jammed nozzle.
So I cleaned it (with acetone over night) and reassambled everything.
Result: Still problems!

So I tried to push some filament through the nozzle by hand and noticed that it's quite hard. Should go much easier I think?!
PEEK tube is ok, hobbed bolt is not the best but worked fine up to now.
Setting was 240°C for ABS (220-260°C) which was fine up to now.

Anybody with similar problem in his/her Reprap carrier?! Any other data needed for support?

Cheers,
Gerald

Hey,

maybe I solved the problem now. smileys with beer
The heat junction between heating block and nozzle seemed to be too high. I put some heat-conductive paste on the thread and now it seems to work.

I will do some test prints and will post the results later on.

I would contact the seller and see what they have to say. That's not a very common hot end, so they probably are the best source of information on it.

Yeah I will do so.
Testprints were successful but I have no working camera around.
