Can I ask any wiring gurus to confirm whether I need to change the wiring order on my motor connectors.

The motors were delivered with the connectors already attached =>

However, when I look at the wiring diagram ( [nwreprap.com] ) it appears that the red and blue wires are the wrong way round. In the wiring diagram (below) the wire order is RED-BLUE-GREEN-BLACK whilst my connectors appear to be BLUE-RED-GREEN-BLACK.

Am I correct in saying that the wires are the RED and BLUE wires on my connectors need to be switched?

Many thanks.

James.

There is no standard color code for wiring motors.

Your picture seems to show a black / blue and a red / blue combination. I'm guessing one of the blues is being called green.

As long as the top two ohm out as connected when you check them with a DVM and the bottom two ohm out as connected, you are ok. While you have the DVM out, check both windings to the case as well. If they are shorted, that's not good. You can also make sure they meet the spec on the data sheet for the motor at the same time. That will save time later on when the question "did I get the wrong motors" comes up .....
