Prontface connecting but Actions not working
January 08, 2014 09:13AM
Hi there,

After having replaced my Melzi with a RAMPS 1.4, I uploaded Merlin to the board using Arduino.
Unfortunately once prontface is connected none of of the actions seem to work.

It it worth noting that the printer was working before the controller change.
How can I troubleshoot this?
How can I check my hardware is actually still working?

Help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Charles

I have indeed;

#define MOTHERBOARD 33

After changes you need to save and upload. Upload has to be done with printer disconnected.

Blinking yellow led on board when upload taking place.

I just realized I've only got power coming through the 11A input and nothing through the 5A could this be the reason?
If so I'm guessing I will need an ATX power supply?

I though this was just an optional input?!?

The 5a input is for the extruder and steppers, the 11a input is for the heatbed.

I use a 12v 350w power supply.
