Stepper motor controller in 31-part lots?

I'm working on collecting the list of parts to build the Mendel, but I'm having trouble with one part.
The
A3982
seems to be sold by Digikey only in lots of 31. I want 3 of them. Is this a new problem? Is there a known workaround?
