Metric drill bits needed for assembly
May 03, 2014 07:40PM
I am looking at the assembly instructions and it says I need an 8mm and 10mm drill bit to drill out the parts. Where is a good place in the US to get inexpensive metric drill bits?

Thanks,

Eroc

Any good industrial hardware store will have them. Those are used to ream/clean out the Y corners. Depending on who printed your parts you may not need to do that. You can use a file also or the nearest equivalent fractional or number size which would be an X, Y or 25/64 for the 10 mm. For the 8 mm a 5/16 will be pretty close, almost dead on.
