Prusa i3 X Axis issue

Hey guys,

So on larger/more complex prints, I get a weird issue on the X axis as seen here:

Not sure what it could be linked to - possibly acceleration?

I've checked the voltage of the stepper and it's .45v and I hear no skipping at any point, and also checked the belt tension and it seems good? It's not too tight, but not too lose either.

The only thing I can think that it could be now is acceleration in Marlin - what are people's thoughts? As you can see on the left-hand shape, there is a TINY amount of slight warping, but its definitely most obvious on the right-hand piece.

Cheers,

Matt

Looks like too much tension in x-belt, but can't be sure.
If you are using Kisslicer, you can also try lowering acceleration as much as you can (like 2mm/s or about) - helped me few times.

also looks too a bit of z wobble, apart the layer skips they look slanted going to the right, also check belts and also currents can cause missed steps

I ended up fixing this a while back, and has been perfect since.

I can't actually remember what the exact fix for this was, I think the screw on the motor pinion was loose, and was causing dodgy layers as you can see.

All prints well now smiling smiley.
