It's the other way around. Reducing the FPDR will increase the flow rate and use more material.

I got confiused by that one too. A better name for that setting might be Filament Pusher Efficiency.

Oh well I have some things to try this week now

Just done a small test print with the settings worked out earlier, left the Filament packing density alone. All looks really good now much better.

well it actually describes how soft your filament is...
btw... I have upladed a revised version of Skeinforge to github.

What I did:

Modified Skeinforge to be easier to use.
Deleted plugins that are not used anymore.
Made some setting easier to understand /set.
Put in some notes on the pages.
Creates a settings folder .SFACT in the skeinforge.py directory so your other SF is unaffected.

It is only valid for Stepper Extruders.

Just printing some frame vertex's for a Prusa and so far they look better although the solid surface layer looks like it might be fractionally sparse but it is a tiny amount. I changed the WOT to 1.5 and did a recalculate and ended up with 0.3925. It's definitely better than it was just need some final tweaking now

I have the opposite issue. Nozzle drags on the first 3 layers but is fine on the last three.But I'm using slicer.
