Hi everybody,
i did some testing trying to print a good gear but i didn't succeed so far. In the attachment you can find a report.
Is there anybody who has some good settings for printing a gear with a DC driven MK5 plastruder on a thingomatic. I'm using replicatorG 0024 and SK 39. So far i couldn't print any reliable, good & strong gear.
I succeed in printing a gear in SK 35 but then i was unable to fit in the nut. See also in the attachment. The gear you see in the attachment is 5 times the same, drive pulley for the Z-axis from a Mendel designed by Nophead. I also included the SK35 settings that gave me so far the best result. I also tried finishing the pulley by drilling and milling, so the nut should fit. But then the nut turned loose in the part because the hole became to big. It happened during screwing in the bolt, the nut was not totally on his place where it should be in the pulley.
I hope that their is somebody out there on this big forum to help me creating a nice gear for my Mendel!
Greetings,
Louis
