Hello the community

I am a Swiss Reprapper ^{(French speaker)} I developed a RepRap for my personal use, I wished a precise and fast machine... it's far from being the best, and certainly not the cheapest! But it works pretty well for a first version as I do not speak English well I'll not repeat here what I try to write on the RepRap wiki, or at openbuilds.com, I try to keep the information centralized. I come here to assets your opinions, comments, improvements, etc ... and to talk a bit with the pros

It looks like you have plenty of clearance on the back to install a diagonal brace from the base to one corner at the top. I think you will be amazed at how much stiffer that will make your frame and you will see the difference in the prints. If you try it please let us know.

Heating bed MK2 is temporary. The print volume is 320x320x270mm. As shown in the photos below, I can not add anything in the diagonal. It would be possible to add a reinforcement to the horizontal as in the second picture. For the moment, which limited my tests speeds / qualityis the extruder. A geared version with a better head (E3D) is in preparation.

Hi, thanks for your sharing. I would like to know what software and firmware are you using. I really like your project, good stuff. As said I think you could mirror the reinforcement diagonal brace (like a MendelMax).
Good prints, take updates please, I want to see what max speed you can reach.

I do not know how to demonstrate the rigidity of the structure. It does not move, the mendelMax no longer has this structure since v1.5. and version 2.0 is ultra fast with a similar design. (or I do not understand what you mean, sorry.)

Very nice build are very skilled to build that I have built a few things from scratch myself I can tell you your attention to detail is very good

great build, and runs very smoothly. Would you consider your machine rigid enough for some light milling e.g. PCBs?

I tried myself to make a leadscrew reprap. Unfortunately I had a few resonance issues and since switched the X to belts. It's good to see someone like you get it right
