Deflection formulae for steel rods

I came across this old post from 2010 that discussed a formulae for calculating the maximum deflection on a steel rod due to any given weight (such as an X axis carriage, hotend and extruder).

I won't rehash the maths here (see the original post), but I've created a spreadsheet (attached) to automate the calculations if anyone wants.

Good reference sheet. For anyone interested, you could also copy this sheet and just dead key the moment of inertia for different geometries.
