I don't understand - at some point you've got to put build material on
support.

If new build material adheres poorly to support material, it would help to
start the build material over known good build material. Mind you, if we
need to do little quarter-assed to half-assed fixes like this, it means that
the support material isn't really that good.

By the way, Adrian, Forrest, do you want me to pick up some Polyethylene
glycol for you, or are you having success with the pva wood glue?

Yes - but that then has to be on support material. There has to be a
support to build transition between aome layer and the next somewhere
for support to be of any use.

Agreed. But we don't want adhesion to be that good between support and
build, or we'll never separate them...

Actually, so far I've drawn a bit of a blank with PVA - I can't seem to
find a supplier of the solid stuff; everyone seems to want to sell it
dissolved in water. So if you can get some Polyethylene glycol that
would be really kind.

Will do. Which type? I would suggest the powder, since it will be easier to
blend with other materials in order to get into a filament form factor.
