Trouble with Ramps

Greetings from New Zealand. I'm having alot of trouble getting a RAMPS 1.4 to work. Sprinter firmware works OK (including SD card), however I want SD card and LCD to function. I've tried Marlin and it doesn't seem to want to read the SD card (and yip its 2G. Repetier doesn't seem to want to work at all.

I started with a Sanguino 644, upgraded that to a 1284P ad arent a newbie, but seem to up against brick wall here. Best option at the moment seems to be to use Sprinter and add LCD routines.

Any hints? Suggestions etc...

Well, you are on the right track with the 1284P upgrade. The 644 does not have enough memory to run SD and LCD concurrently.

I think if you put a bit of effort into Repetier, you should be able to get it working. Seek out Lincomatic's (West Coast hours), or Repetier's (European time) help on IRC if you need to get over a hump.
