Hello
i have ramps 1.4 and my problem is that when i set the extruder temp is not working,
nether the led flash also i chek the volts with my multimeter at D10 pin and i take 0 V. i change once my shield but still i have the same problem.
i dont know if the problem is from the software or is from the sield. the frimware wicth i use is sprinter and the slicer is pronterface.

Have you checked the input voltage from your power supply? There is one for 5A and 11A. Both should be getting 12V. Also what is the wattage on your power supply? It needs to be rated for 350watt or more but the most important thing is that the 12V wire need to support more than 16A total if your supply the 5A an 11A.

Another thing, the resistor is not touching any metal parts and measure the resistance with a multimeter, it should show 5 to 6 ohm.
If it's shorted at the resistor then it will not show 12V.
