Hi, what is the correct way to install A4983 drivers on ramps 1.4 boards as they can be inserted one way then turned 180 degrees and inserted that way as well, which is correct or does it not matter.

Hi, Thanks for the infomation,Ihave seen photos of them mounted every whichaway which is why I asked. have purchaced a complete set on line.

midnight, it depends on your type of stepper driver. Most use the location of the current limiting pot to orientate. (which is a trap) you should identify which pins are B2 B1 A1 A2 and this side is the side nearest the stepper plugs.

for pololu A4983 and stepstick type drivers
