Ramps 1.4 hotend fan connectors

Hey all. Im new to 3d printing so please excuse my poor terminology.

I currently have one fan connected to my hot end (the aluminum shell heat sink thing).

I am wanting to connect another fan which will blow directly onto the print head, for achieving better bridges and such.

The only issue i'm having is where do i plug this fan into the board? id like to be able to control this fans speed through Repetier host.

So far i think im supposed to plug it into the D9., though it might also go in the pins next to the reset button.

Any help is appreciated

D9 is correct . . . it will then be controllable by your gcode - IE the slicer can call for fan when needed. The other pins would just run it constantly at full speed.

Update: Loving the hot end fan. i no longer have to print with supports, walls come out cleaner and can print with less infill inorder to get a smooth top layer.
