I have a prusa i2. my circles are footballs. it is deforming on the y axis. can i get some help.

Also are your X and Y axis step values in the firmware correct? Try to calibrate them.

That or your belt is loose.

(American) Football shaped circles are a sign of mechanical backlash. Either as tleneel suggests belt(s) too loose, or a pulley is slipping on a motor shaft.

I have the same trouble.
And my X and Y axis seem well calibrated.
Depending on where the circle is printed on the bed, the result may be good or bad.
I begin to suspect bad roundness or bad shape of my printed pulley on Y axis.

Usually when I have this problem it turns out to be a lose pulley. Make sure all your pulleys are securred properly.
