My Prints are not solid;stringy, uneven, not joined

Hi, Thanks for your interest and time.

I am using a recently constructed Prusa Explorer and these are the prints i am receiving.

Here are the Settings,
extrude 5mm/min
reverse 30mm/min
x and y 3000mm/min z 200mm/min
temperature 210C
no heated print bed
Using PLA plastic.

All the "prints" are not really solid but are stringy andon close inspection rows of plastic do not seem to join.

Just like a sponge on the seabed floor I am open to all ideas!!!!!!!

cheers
Colin

Looks like you are way under-extruding. Have you calibrated you extruder steps/millimeters. It looks like the number you are using may be too low.

The extruder settings can be misleading - on your settings, if you hit "extrude" it will pump 5mm of plastic. If you hit "reverse", it will suck 5mm of plastic. Under the reverse button is the speed the extruder motor will move if either button is pressed (extrude or reverse). You have yours set at 30mm/min which is way too slow - it may be a typo of course. If not, set it to 300mm/min
