Print issue / Overhang

Hello,

When the piece I print have a overhang (like on top of a hole), the PLA goes up, and the nozzle hit the plastic: then the X axis shifts. I don't know what to do to do not have this problem (I use a fan duct, and already decrease the temperature).

Do you have a fan blowing on the print also? On the other pictures I can only see a fan pointed towards the hotend, that might not be enough.

Slowing down a bit might also help.

Also have you tried to raise the temperature? if you go too low the plastic might not be fluid enough, when it is extruted, this can be a problem on pointy overhangs.

I've tested with a big fan (intended for use in car) blowing on my bed and the problem is solved. It was a ventilation problem...Now I need to found a better solution (fan duct, 12cm fan...) because this fan make lot of noise :/

We had the same issue with our printer.

First disable the steppers and try moving the x as with your hand. Probaly it will move rough.
Is this is the case just realign the x as and also lubricate it. We used wd-40.

I hope this solves your problem.
