Problems Printing ABS

Hi,

i started to print my first ABS Filament, and i am having Problems finding the right settings.
Printer Data:
1,75mm Filament (Black ABS)
0,4mm Nozzle at my J-Head
Extruder is an Airtripper Bowden Setup with a mk8 drive gear.
Repetier FW
x/y acceleration 2000 max x/y-speed 100mm/s
Slicer Speed Settings:

Temps:
250/245 extruder
110/100 Heatbed

and thats the result:

any ideas? the top layer looks like too much, the bottom layer looks like to less,
and at the infill the extruded filament snaps off from time to time, like there is to less material extruded.
i also tried to extrude 5°C higher, but it got worse.

250c is a bit high from the "norm"
I print ABS at 230c
Also id bring the infill speed down a bit to 50mm/sec

A few suggestions.

Hotend 230c
Bed 80c-90c

Make sure you measure your filament and put the exact measurement in (it's almost never exactly the size listed and it matters a lot).

i ll try that asap,

bit bringing the speed down is the exact opposite of that what i want to achieve, i want to print even faster.

Sorry but if you cannot even print nice at 50mm/sec its only going to get worse going faster.
You need to calibrate your settings a bit more before you get into 60-80mm/sec area.
Personally 60mm/sec is as fast as I normally go. Mainly I stay around 50.
