Z Steps

I printed out a 20mm x 20mm x 50mm tower last night and the x-y of 20x20 was REAL close at about .05-.1mm off. Im ok with that.
On the 50mm height though it came out 49mm. I have my zsteps set to 4000 for my m5 rod. I was printing ABS at 240c with a .4mm tip and .2mm layers.
What should the new zsteps be to get my height fixed?

The error is -2%, so increase the steps per mm by 2% to 4080.

For my M5 I have 4084, so it should be close.

Awesome. Thats what I was getting , I just wanted clarification before I adjust.
Im going to run another tower tonight and see how the changes go.

4080 Zsteps worked like a charm.
I was also able to bump my flow rate back up.
It was driving me nuts that I had to run 85% flow. If I did 100% it would seem to overextrude.

Edit you e steps for the z height keep the 4000 steps for your z u shouldn't need to adjust the z
