RepRap Fisher - prints 3mm from the bed and not sticking
March 08, 2016 12:05PM
Hello,

So i managed to print a small robot as my first print on my RepRap Fisher printer, since then the printer has started printing about 3mm above the bed which is soooo annoying. It also doesnt even stick to the bed even if i use multiple different ways such as painters tape as recommended on other sites?

My main issue is the printing above the bed randomly, im using spic3r and simplify 3D and wonder if im doing something wrong? even if i try printing the robot which did work it doesn't now. i also think the bed is now bowed slightly anyone have the same issue?

you need to zero your Z axis again, try moving the axis manually until you have the desired distance between the extruder and the bed, and then do a G92 Z0. and try to pint again
