Stepper jittering

So Update to my other post

My stepper is moving, but in a jittery way. It goes forward some big steps, and backwards a few steps. This happens a few times a second.
when He does this, the stepper driver (with heatsink) becomes a little hot with just a little movement.

Anyone who knows how to fix this?

I just tried lowering the steps/mm in the screen menu. but this had no effect for several times. Any other ideas?...

... anoher issue could be, the step pulses aren't long enough -- some stepper drivers needs some ten microseconds (up to some milliseconds!)

How can I change these. I am on an SKR 1.3 with TMC2209's

... if not per config/firmware, then eventually with a monoflop circuit between controller and stepper drivers ...
