100% infill independent of settings? (SOLVED)
August 15, 2015 10:29AM
Rebuilt my computer, upgraded to Windows Professional,
reinstalled Repetier/Slic3r, now latest version and for some
reason it slices with 100% infill whatever I input in the settings?!?

Anyone experienced this and/or know how to fix it?

How many files have you tried? There's a Solid Infill Threshold Area setting, and it will fill areas smaller than that area with 100% infill regardless of other settings.

Thanks for your input IMBoring25,

I've tried enought files over the last weeks to realize it's not the files (10+ maybe more than 20).
I'm using the old Cura slicer at the moment for parts that need infill but it's not allways possible,
for example the Ciclops parts has modelled support that is to thin to slice with Cura.

I've set the solid infill treshold down to 10mm^2 but it did not help either.

Correction:
Something went wrong during the original install of the Repetier / Slic3r package.
When all new files generated using the "admin" account was copied to the user account Slic3r works as supposed.

I have found the bug...
There are still problems when using a user account with non 7-bit ascci characters in the user name.
Will report issue on github as soon as this is posted.
