Can not enable skirt

Can not enable skirt

I can not enable the skirt function (LOOP)

I disabled it for one print cuz it gave me a bad loop around the object and now can't re-enable it.

I change the number from 0 to 1, click save, and it reverts back to 0.

LOOPS: I set to one, but it reverts back to zero.

Are you using any . (dots) in your print profiles? I have had issues updating those and have since renamed all the bad ones.
You can manually edit the config file and change the skirt if all else fails.

Which config mechanism are you using, the single file method, or the newer segmented file. If you don't know and are invoking slic3r via pronterface, you,re probably using the single file method. If that's the case, you don't save your configuration, you need to export it and overwrite the config file that you specified inside pronterface.

Im sorry to say this behaviour is normally observed when upgrading slic3r. You need to try deleting all your print, filament and printer settings .ini files. They are not always portable between different versions of slic3r.

Using ABSPrusa Mendel Zaphod with Pronterface and slic3r 1.3.0. Printing well with 3mm PLA and ABS through 2 x J Head Mk IV b and Wade Geared Exruders. Controlled using RAMPS1.4 board running Marlin_v1.1.9

K, I had to delete the config files and start over.
Thank you!
