Slic3r 0.99

Hi
Just trying the new release and so far so good.
Was going through the new features and was wandering if any one could tell me where this one is:

"ability to use multiple different layer heights in the same object"

Can only see the option of having a different layer height between first layer and the rest but don't think that is a new feature.

Double click and object on the plater or on the item list, and you get a window with info about that object.

This window now has an extra tab for setting varying layer heights.

Took me a while to find this too!

Thanks for that, I have been searching for it too! Also I noticed that now my prints have a top layer which has more thickness than other layers. It improves the surface quality a lot, but I have not found a setting which makes it happen. My top layer thickness is set to 100% in the print settings..

I tried it. Can't get it to fill the last layer. I set 2 solid layers and when I slice something the last layer is only perimeter.

I tried Silc3r 0.9.0 but it does not work. Alone is giving me an error as in Figure 1, and in Repetier Host an error as in Figure 2. Please, see attachement. I had no issue with Silc3r 0.9.8. I must mention that the error does depend on the part, in 95% of cases is there, including on parts which are running well on Silc3r 0.9.8, and also, that I removed the address of config file in Repetier. If I keep the address of config file I am getting the error from Figure 3.
Could somebody help, please?

It seems that I can not change the config file....and it works only with its own file....if I give the location of config file same like in 0.9.8 I get this error 22:17:44.171 : Can't call method "clone" on unblessed reference at C:/PROGRA~1/Repetier-Host/Slic3r/lib/std/Slic3r/Print.pm line 157.
Any help?

I've been able to slice to SD card. However when printing, the heat bed reaches temperature but the extruder stays at 0C? The LCD still says heating.. and thats all that happens. ha ha

I'm going to downgrade to Slic3r 0.9.8, atleast until the ussues are sorted.

I have the same problem with slic3 9.9 64bits variant

I renamed the slic3r directory and I got back to the old slic3r directory where is the version 9.8. now everything works fine.
I also installed the 32 version of slic3r 9.9 and the problem is the same.Maybe with my windows 64b is not compatible?
Any help is appreciated.

I got the fix for the problem.
Disable the option of "complete individuals objects" in "print settings" ->" output option" It works after that like charm.
