Will Slic3r ever use multiple cores? Even longer distance question; will it ever utilize CUDA cores? That would be the most wonderful thing in the world. I'd never have to wait for a slice again.
As far as I understand, programming for multiple cores is still an art and not a wide spread, easy science, so I asked it that way for a reason. I just want to know if it's in the plans for the future, and ballparked what future.
