Hi,
I'm using the 1.2.9 for months, but from a week or so it's taking way to much , after 3-4 hours to slice let's say 10x10x2 cm and was unable to finish and save.
On quad core with 16gb ram, windows 7 it's using only one core and max 1Gb ram,even so i'm not able to slice allmost anything, and the finish is a crash.
Maybe some updates from windows or so are the root, but i was unable to find.
I have created from scratch.. no effect.
i like slic3r but i think this is the worst version from 2-3 years of use.

Hi!
Yes, this programm its wonderfull (when it doesn`t crash xD). i think that your pc is not the problem because its powerfull. Try to download Prusa 1.2.9 from this forum and install. You can find the link in "topics". This was a solution to me: no more crashes!

Thank @touchy88, but on the prusa link i have found only kisslicer , maybe i will start using this but it will take a while with all settings to be done.

You will find the latest Slic3r builds packed inside the Prusa drivers
[www.prusa3d.com]

The "drivers" packages are bundled with Prusa specific configuration files. We have an automatic build system set up and we are currently discussing where and how to publish the standalone builds.
