I keep on making it to layer 6, 7, 8... and then it stops sticking to the bed. What can I do?

PLA or ABS? What bed and extruder temperature? Are you printing with a brim? What material are you printing on?

ABS, Solidoodle Bed, 100 degree bed temp., not sure what you mean about the brim. The part does curve a lil bit.

I typically run 110 on my Kapton covered bed. Also make sure no air from anywhere is blowing on the bed while printing abs. Needs to remain hot at all times.

Also to improve sticking to the Kapton I scuff it up some with sandpaper.

Also if using Slic3r on some hard to print parts I would enable the brim which prints 1 layer around the perimeter of the actual part allowing better adhesion to the bed. Do not confuse with skirt which is outside of the partt.

Hope this helps.

My brim width was set at 0 mm. Do you have any suggestions? 1mm,2mm...?

Yea.. Run the temp up on the bed a little.. I would set first layer to 115, and remaining layers to 110. Also, wipe the kapton tap with a paper towel and a little acetone before printing. This always sticks well for me (sometimes too well!).

I use 3m super adhesive spray & hair spray combo. 100 degrees. Sticks quite well. Experiment with quantity of sprays and figure out what you need.

I spray these on a glass plate., not on kapton tape.
