EEPROM MODE
April 25, 2014 10:07PM
My firmware version is 0.91 and i want to hold the calibrated data into EEPROM.
What's the EEPROM mode should be 0 or 1 or 2.
Also, what's the different between mode 0/1/2?
i'm calibrate the z height again via LCD 《not connect to PC》
after i power off and on the printer.
The calibrated z heigh was gone.
It seem to be not saved into epprom of LCD card....any solution?

EEPROM mode is simply a state of change. If the EEPROM numbers are different between configuration.h and EEPROM then the EEPROM is overridden with the new settings. If they are the same, the EEPROM is read instead of the configuration.h. Look up the EEPROM Trap to learn more.

Repetier-Host 0.95 can also save your eeprom data into a file and restore it from file. Just to be on the save side!

Thank you for the reminder about this feature! I just grabbed a backup of my current calibration setting, just to be safe in case they accidentally get whacked when I do the next firmware upgrade.....
