Hi,

I bought a new 3D printer cant get any support from the supplier. after I setup Repetier V0.90C and connect to the 3D printer. There is error message as following: "Serial com error: System.IO.Ports.SerialErrorReceivedEventArgs" I'm been running Win8 can anyone can help me for this solution. Thanks!

You can connect with the Ardiuno IDE and upload the firmware ok?

i have repetier and melzi, driver is ft232r usb uart but show error in com, could you help me what I have to do?

This error message contains no information about your problem,
it is possible that there are multiple causes that trigger this error.

Lucastar fixed this error by changing the baudrate from 19200 to 76800 bps.

Does this also happen when you connect using the Arduino serial monitor?

i have the same error. luckily i have 2 laptop. one on win 7, one on win xp.
i try to install the printer on xp, and work ok.
i had error on win 7.
