Pause -> Resume -> Pause = dead! (0.96i-zpl, Web 1.08)

Hi all,

I recently picked up my old Ormerod 1 again after several months of absence. I checked forum for latest FW and settled for ZPL 0.96h (now on 0.96i) After some initial fiddling with settings that have changed since I used my printer i got it to work again.

But I have one problem that bugs me and I can't find any solution for it in the forum.

When I start a new print everything works fine. If I pause, it's homing the head and sits there until I press resume. On resume it does what it suppose to and moves head back to where it left off and continues to print. But when I pause a second time, printing just stops and it disconnects from the Webinterface. It becomes non responsive, heating is still on.

@00:43:18 I press pause second time.

Msg log says:

00:33:49Print paused!
00:33:54Print resumed!
00:43:18Disconnected Page not being updated

Maybe I just missed something stupid?

If I turn on debug Pronterface last line says:
"web: M25" when I press the second Pause

Any clue??

I use Webinterface 1.08, but I get the same problem with 1.03

Best regards,

/Jonas

Sorry to hear you're having problems. Can you send me the G-Code file you're having issues with? I'd then try to reproduce the problem you reported and fix it if I find out what's going on. Does it matter where you pause the print?

Also note you should put the right macros (pause.g, resume.g and reset.g) in your /sys directory. They can be found in the SD-image directory on my GitHub repository.

Ofcourse!! That did it! smileys with beer

I should have realized that your pause.g and resume.g was also needed! Works perfect now. Thanks a lot for you effort, great firmware and webinterface!
