FW Feature suggestion: Temperature override
May 31, 2015 04:56PM
Hello everyone.

This is target to the (praised) FW developer (DC42, ZPL, and all others contributing...). May it be possible to add a Hotend temperature override feature while printing, controlling by Slider in Web Frontend? This would round up the already implemented web frontend features Extrusion override, speed multiplied override and fan speed override. Especially when doing testprints with new fillaments, this would be very helpful for on the fly changes.

Best regards

You can do this if you are using the Web Intrface by ZPL. Simply change the temperature setting at the top.

As Treito says, you can do this already - and I often use this feature.

Large delta printer [miscsolutions.wordpress.com], E3D tool changer, Robotdigg SCARA printer, Crane Quad and Ormerod

Disclosure: I design Duet electronics and work on RepRapFirmware, [duet3d.com].

Me too, because of the temperature change is very fast. As long as I do not change the material (PLA/ ABS) it works good.

Thanks for the quick answers thumbs up.

I never noticed that it is possible to enter and change the temperature on the fly in the input box.
