I have been working through building my reprap for the last four weeks or so and last Sunday night got two of the stepper motors wired up and wanted to test movement. I tried connecting with the reprap software and couldn't tell if I was connected, I downloaded replicator G and it connected right away. I brought up the jog window but could only get motion in the negative direction on both axis. I have not connected the endstops yet but can't find any information on what the problem might be. I am thinking about reloading the firmware but wanted to check with the community and see if anyone had some ideas or answers.
