CoreXY: Non-matching MGN carriages on either side of Y?

Hi,

I'm buildling a CoreXY and improvising a little as I go along.

I bought a pair of (expensive) MGN12Cs for Y axis carriages and an MGN12H for X axis carriage (working from HevORT BOM), but the smaller carriage would actually suit me better on the X axis. If I swap it around now I'll be left with one MGN12C and one MGN12H for Y axis.

Do you think this is a big deal? Will the slight difference in mass cause some vibration or other problems related to asymmetry, etc?

Hello,

It shouldn't be an issue if you adjust the screw holes of one of the Y ends to the position of the H carriage. This assuming both carriages are identical of thickness.
Aside from that, if you can use the H for the X axis it will probably be less of hassle and make more sense to stick to your orginal plan.
