I am currently building an Eggbot using print files and software from - Thingiverse "Finucane Derivative Eggbot". After fighting it for a couple of days I think I finally have the "tool chain" to work and the Arduino firmware compiled and uploaded.
The commercial eggbot uses Inkscape with an "extension" that transmits gcode and has manual commands etc.. I can only see one way to control the reprap version and that is to use the Feeder.py program to transmit gcode to the arduino. It would be really nice to have manual controls etc..
Is there a way to use Replicatorg or some other printer control program to talk to the arduino eggbot for manual control and to transmit gcode? Improve the Inkscape extention to talk with the arduino?
