Small Useful Test Print Object

I'm looking for a small object to be my default to test piece. I'm not looking for something to test any particular aspect of the printer, just something small to print to make sure all is working. This object would have the following properties:

1. Be useful to a verity of people.
2. Something that isn't wasteful to have several of.
3. Only consumes somewhere around 300mm of filament.
4. Isn't hard to print. (Doesn't require monitoring, special fan setup, …)
5. Is equally good printed out of PLA or ABS.

Ideas?

Best marks out of five wins gratitude and bragging rights!

How about poker chips? You can incorporate different calibration testing with various designs and you certainly can't have enough poker chips around. Well that's how it is with me anyway - they are like socks; they keep disappearing.

Not all of us have monkeys on our backs like you and yamster! : )

(I wouldn't trust the dice to be evenly weighted.)
