Magma Hotend

I buy a new hotend!

The NEW Magma Hotend for 3mm filament including 0.4mm nozzle

someone already has this hotend?
which the relevant problems experienced with this hotend?
Need cooling?
I would like you leave here your opinion about it

I recently obtained one of these hotends..I'm suprised no one repsonded to your post..I have it all hooked up,


My only problem so far has been the heating unit...I can not get a good autotune done on it as it seems to shoot too far pass the set temp, forcing it to shut down and through a error on Rep. Host. I am going to try adjusting the PID settings and see if I can atleast get a good autotune test done today...will keep you filled in. -Papabur

My magma broke causing me to buy an E3D hot end and I couldnt be happier with the E3D.
Easy to setup and get going making better prints already.

Get a Hexagon. The heat sink on the magma is just not efficient. I had tons of jams
and issues. Right now I love the Hexagon hot end (RepRapDiscount or Makerfarm sell them).
