Hello everyone,

I´m a new RepRaper and wanted to find out what printing speeds and temps are other people using, please mention your printer style also (single frame aluminum/plywood..., boxed, etc).

I´m currently using:
Prusa i3 Single Frame Aluminum
Filament: ABS
Head: 250C
Bed: 110C (Kapton, paper glue/sugar water)
Print speed: 20mm/s

Thanks
Oscar

Hi, I'm new to this, but mine seems to be working ok as follows:

PLA -
Head heat first layer 200, then 185
Bed temp 55 with a weak PVA glue and water mix. Prints stick every time and just need a little water soak to release from the glass plate at the end.
Print speed 50mm

I am pretty new also, but have gotten things working well with ToyBuilderLabs ABS, with head at 235C, and bed at 125C, and using glass with purple glue on it. I haven't figured out optimal speed, but 50mmps is working so far. It is a single metal frame i3 from DIYTech
