Z Motor turns wrong directionspinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Hi there, i have a little question.

I've wired all of my motors with same color schema.
When i hit HOME X on pronterface it goes right position. hits the endstop and stays still.
When i hit HOME Y on pronterface it goes right position. hits the endstop and stays still.

But my problem is when i hit HOME Z on pronterface it goes UP now DOWN so it will never come home smiling smiley , same problem with my extruder. I have to hit reverse button to push filament through the nozzle. if i hit extrude button the extruder motor pulls the filament out.

So what should i do with that ?

Just turn your motor connectors around and your problem is solved.

instead of re-wiring as Schufco mentioned, switch the direction in the firmware, a lot simpler and faster.

How can changing the firmware be simpler and faster, turning a motor connector around takes 2 seconds.

Not if you have your electronics mounted in any kind of enclosure. Mine is inside a cage. I find making software changes infinitely easier.

And safer, as when you turn around the plug when the machine is powered, you can damage your electronics.
