or am I better off doig something else?
question 2:
I'm goig to order a e3d v6 from filastruder and use wades extruder.
am I going to have any issues?
bee searching and searching on the net to get my cart filled
Thanks a bunch

Walmart 8x10 picture fram glass for $5.00 works great, not sure why you would want the aluminum...
Would you still put a piece of glass on it or print on the aluminum? Glass is great because it's cheap, you can have several ready to go,
Just my opinion. The aluminum looks cool. But it's bolted down...

Cheers. Hope this helps?

it looks neato. I was thinking glass on bed but I saw this. I was going to print on aluminum.

Cant recommend aluminum as print surface. That bends to fast. If you can afford the weight of aluminum + glass on top its ok i guess.

E3d has some good reviews as far as the all metal hotend goes. But it seems that people are turning toward hexagon hotend -
[www.reprapdiscount.com]

Similar thing but I will try hexagon

IMHO a 3mm aluminium plate can't stay flat enough, especialy when heated.

Collective intelligence emerges when a group of people work together effectively. Prusa i3 Folger (A lot of the parts are wrong, boring !)
